We need your caring help.
Dear Sharefest Friends and Family,
An urgent need has been brought to our attention by Steve Wallis, Principal of Da Vinci School. Da Vinci School is one of our many project sites for tomorrow's 8th Annual Workday. A student of Da Vinci School, Jamia, who lives in Los Angeles (near Slauson & La Cienega), had their home and all of its contents completely destroyed by fire this past week.
We are asking for volunteers to bring donations of clothing, appliances or gift cards to the Da Vinci School this Saturday, or to contribute online HERE. Da Vinci Schools is located at 13500 Aviation Blvd. Hawthorne, 90250.
Please contribute if you are able. This is a great opportunity to be of urgent assistance and to demonstrate Sharefest's care for those in our communities. Here are the needed sizes for clothing:
- Jamia – 7/8 pants in Juniors; L in Juniors shirts (this probably translates to about a 4 in women’s sizes and a small or medium in women’s shirts)
- Jamia’s sister – 14/16 in children’s sizes for both pants and shirts
- Jamia’s mom – 18W/20W in both pants and shirts
- Jamia’s grandma – 2X in pants (22/24 W); 2X in shirts
Thank you!
